These files relate to the subsidising of the installation of traffic route lighting throughout rural and metropolitan areas. Local government authorities put forward proposals for schemes in their areas. A file was created for each proposal and contains the proposal form and details of the subsidy payment. The dates indicated above are those for the original proposals. Individual files may include correspondence and papers dating up to 1986.
