A quantitative analysis using the Reformed Teaching Observation Protocol (RTOP) was used to collect data before and after implementing the Systematic Physics Problem-Solving (SPPS) strategy through Heller and Heller's five problem-solving steps. The data were collected from two districts in Rwanda, involving senior-five physics students from selected schools at the beginning of 2024. This data set comprises 16 files each indicating RTOP scores across various themes and sub-themes. The variables can be depicted from the titles of files. For instance, GroupA refers to the Experimental group while GroupB refers to the Control group. There are files for data collected before intervention (pre) and those collected after intervention (post). Two files for each scenario.
