Impacts of fire on butterfly genetic diversity and connectivity

Here we study the genetic responses of two butterfly species, Erynnis propertius (Hesperiidae) and Plebejus icarioides (Lycaenidae), to a landscape gradient of fire timing and severity in Yosemite National Park. The data are genotype-by-sequencing inferred single nucleotide polymorphisms, from genomic DNA extractions.
