Additional file 4. Fold change and relative metabolite concentrations (Âľg/g FW sorbitol equivalents) of OXPdDUF231A transgenic plants versus empty vector control (K-147) Populus deltoides âWV94â leaves (LPI 5) of 6-month-old greenhouse-grown plants. Metabolites were analyzed as trimethylsilyl derivatives by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Data are the average (Avg) and standard error of the mean (sem) of six OXPdDUF231A plants (three plants from each of two independent transgenic lines) and three K-147 control plants. Unknown and partially identified metabolites are designated by retention time, key mass-to-charge (m/z) ratios, and identified moieties.
