Verdon Park — Charter 2008-2020 — Ecological Sensitivity Zones of the Park Plan

The areas of ecological sensitivity correspond to large spaces consisting of habitats characteristic of the Verdon (forests, moors, lawns, marshes, cliffs, valleys...) and whose ecological interest goes beyond the regional framework. These areas are to be preserved, managed and valued, in particular through incentives, contractual. The objective is to ensure their sustainability, to preserve their biodiversity through agricultural and forestry management measures. The Charter 2008-2020 is THE reference document of the Park which formalises the project of territory valid for 12 years, it is the result of a broad consultation between local actors.
