Datasets for: Admixture into and within sub-Saharan Africa (Busby et al., 2016)

The datasets in this record accompany the article Busby et al., “Admixture into and within sub-Saharan Africa”, eLife 2016. Please cite this article if you make use of these data. The full release provides a computationally phased dataset of 4,216 individuals from 48 African and 12 Eurasian populations typed at ~328,000 autosomal SNPs. Data files consist of: *haps.gz files, which provide information on SNP positions and alleles *sample.gz files, which provide sample metadata information README files for each population AfricaAdmixtureDatasetExclusions.txt: details of individuals which were included in the phasing step but which were removed before the analyses in the paper. haps.gz, sample.gz, and README files are given per population: 1KGP, CP1_burkinafaso, CP1_cameroon, CP1_gambia, CP1_ghana, CP1_kenya, CP1_malawi, CP1_mali, CP1_tanzania, GGVP_gambia, Pagani2012, Petersen2014, Schlebusch2012.
