The vaginal microbiota of pregnant women varies with gestational age, maternal age, and parity

Here, we provide a longitudinal study of a primarily African-American population with a large sample size, and extensive demographic and clinical data, which allowed for the simultaneous evaluation of a broad range of maternal characteristics on the vaginal microbiota.
