Allium microdictyon Genome sequencing and assembly

The goal of the study is to characterize the complete chloroplast genome of Allium microdictyon Prokh., a species native to Altay, Amur, Buryatiya, Chita, Inner Mongolia, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Korea, Manchuria, Mongolia, Primorye, Sakhalin, Tuva, and Yakutiya (POWO: https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:528411-1). In Kazakhstan, this species occurs in the eastern part of the country, on the ridges of the Western Altay. The results obtained are important for the molecular taxonomy of the genus. This study presents the complete nucleotide sequence and annotation of the chloroplast genome of A. microdictyon collected in Kazakhstan.
