Astrometric Identification of a Gaia DR3 Candidate for the 29th Star of the Castelliere di Rupinpiccolo

Abstract: This dataset and accompanying report propose the existence of a dormant, stellar-mass black hole located in the Orion constellation, specifically at the coordinates recorded on a 2,500-year-old archaeological artifact found at the Castelliere di Rupinpiccolo (north-eastern Italy). By cross-referencing the "missing 29th star" identified on the artifact with the European Space Agency's Gaia Data Release 3 (DR3), this research identifies a high-probability companion candidate: Source ID 3323470540034514560. Methodology & Findings: Target Coordinates: RA 88.7916°, Dec +8.5000° Astrometric Noise: The candidate exhibits a RUWE of 1.44, suggesting a gravitational interaction with an invisible, compact object (a potential direct-collapse black hole). Kinematic Simulation: Proper motion tracking indicates this system was in near-perfect alignment (~89 arcseconds) with the artifact's target coordinates circa 500 BCE.
