This file contains two structures of cytochrome C oxidase subunit 1, aligned with VAST, and downloaded from the NCBI. One structure is 1OCC, the normal version of the COI protein. The other structure, 3ABM is bound to O2. The structures have been annotated to make the difference between the two structures easier to see by hiding lipids and detergents and some of the metals. This structure is positioned with the active site in the middle of the view. The structures may be viewed with Cn3D.
