Genomic diversity and selection in the racing Greyhound of Great Britain

This study has generated new genomic SNP data by low coverage sequencing followed by imputation to tens of millions of variants for racing Greyhounds in Great Britain (GB Greyhound). These data were integrated with publicly available genome-wide variant data for other dog breeds. The primary aims of the study were to examine the population substructure, evaluate patterns of inbreeding, and identify positively selected genetic features in the GB Greyhound.
