Mark-recapture data

Dataset containing the capture-mark-recapture data for wild greater spear-nosed bats (Phyllostomus hastatus) captured in three caves (Tamana, Guanapo, and Caura) in Trinidad between 1990-2023. For each individual, a record of whether they were captured (1) or not (0) in a given year is reported, alongside their birthdate, the measure used to compute birthdate (exact, tooth wear estimate, or DNA methylation estimate), sex (male/female), and reproductive status of males (bachelor/harem male).
