This study employs Assay for Transposase-Accessible Chromatin with high-throughput sequencing (ATAC-seq) to investigate chromatin accessibility in primary cultured Schwann cells following transfection with Scramble control and shDdb1 siRNA. By comparing the open chromatin landscapes, we aim to identify regulatory changes induced by Ddb1 knockdown, which may reveal its role in Schwann cell gene expression and function. This work could provide insights into epigenetic mechanisms underlying Schwann cell biology and related disorders.
