The goal is to assemble the first de novo reference genome and annotation for the halophytic plant Salicornia depressa. We sequenced PacBio, Nanopore, and chromatin cross-linked paired-end libraries for initial assembly and a whole RNA isoseq library for annotation all from the same individual. To profile the genome we also sequenced a Whole Genome Shotgun library from a different individual.
