Volcanic Aerosol-Cloud Interactions (VolcACI) Experiment: Part 1 Dataset

This dataset contains model output used in the manuscript "How well are aerosol-cloud interactions represented in climate models? Part 1: Understanding the sulphate aerosol production from the 2014-15 Holuhraun eruption." HYSPLIT model output files are netCDF formated and are named: <em>ERAI_&lt;station-abbreviation&gt;_&lt;trajectory-starting-height&gt;_240b_r1565pf_1hourly_ens.nc</em> Holuhraun model runs are netCDF formatted and are named: aerocom3_<em>&lt;model-name&gt;</em>-met2014_VolcACI-Hol-CE_<em>&lt;variable-name&gt;</em>_<em>&lt;vertical-coordinate-type&gt;</em>_2014_<em>&lt;frequency&gt;_</em>25N-90N.nc. Grid cell area and land sea masks for each model can be calulcated using Climate Data Operators (CDO) commands.
