Wind capacity in Latin America and the Caribbean 2022, by country

In 2022, Brazil had the largest capacity for wind energy generation in Latin America and the Caribbean, with some 24.2 gigawatts. This represented more than half of the installed capacity in the Latin American region that year. Mexico ranked second, with a capacity of approximately 7.3 gigawatts.
