Slab window opening beneath southwestern North America and its relationship to regional magmatism: insights from numerical modeling

This dataset contains the research data supporting the submitted manuscript Pérez-Luján et al., Slab window opening beneath southwestern North America and its relationship to regional magmatism: insights from numerical modeling, submitted to EPSL, 2025. It includes files for visualizing the numerical model in ParaView (a set of .vts and .pvts files containing the present-day state of the model) as well as boundary condition data used to reproduce the plate kinematics and thermal structure of the oceanic lithosphere. A configuration (.cfg) file is also provided containing the specific parameters to configure the Citcoms 3.3.1 model.
