资源简介:

The arbitral tribunal is an organ established under private law, which, on the basis of an agreement between the parties, hears disputes submitted to it. The arbitral tribunal may be established to settle a specific dispute, or the tribunal may operate on a permanent basis. A permanent arbitration court may be established by an association registered in the Register of Enterprises (the founder of the permanent arbitration court), the purpose of which is the operation of the permanent arbitration court. Arbitration, as a non-governmental, public body, is an alternative to the courts established by the State and arbitration is not part of the national judicial system. The use of arbitration courts for the settlement of civil disputes is becoming more and more popular in the world, as the arbitration procedure is simpler and faster than the procedure before a national court. Arbitration courts in Latvia have been established since 1999.
