7月5日16时许，岳阳市华容县团洲乡团北村团洲垸洞庭湖一线堤防(桩号19+480)发生一处重大管涌险情。当日17时48分许，紧急封堵失败，导致堤坝决堤(经初步勘测，决堤口宽度约10米)并在发展。 截至6日12时许，堤坝决口宽约220米，垸内平均水深约5米，淹没面积47.64平方公里(占团洲垸总面积的92.5%，该垸安全区暂未被淹)，洞庭湖与垸内水位落差约0.10米

At around 16:00 on July 5, a major piping erosion hazard occurred at the first-class Dongting Lake embankment (stake number 19+480) in Tuanzhouyuan, Tuanbei Village, Tuanzhou Township, Huarong County, Yueyang City. At around 17:48 on the same day, the emergency plugging attempt failed, leading to a levee breach (preliminary survey shows the initial breach width was approximately 10 meters) and the disaster continued to escalate. By 12:00 on July 6, the breach width had expanded to about 220 meters, with an average water depth of around 5 meters inside the enclosed area, a submerged area of 47.64 square kilometers (accounting for 92.5% of the total area of Tuanzhouyuan, while the safety zone within the enclosed area remained unsubmerged), and a water level difference of approximately 0.10 meters between Dongting Lake and the interior of the enclosed area. This dataset provides multiple satellite remote sensing image datasets including Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, Landsat 9, GF-3, GF-4, Jilin-1, Haishi-1, Chaohu-1, Zhuhai-1 and Fucheng-1, which can offer data support for research on this levee breach disaster.
