Parameter-elevation Regressions on Independent Slopes Model (PRISM) contains daily gridded climate observation data from a wide range of ground-based monitoring networks. The data are displayed in the Spatial Climate Datasets for the Conterminous United States, Daily Time Series, using spatial interpolation and simulation methods. The data encompass seven primary climate elements: precipitation, minimum temperature, maximum temperature, mean dew point, minimum vapor pressure deficit, maximum vapor pressure deficit, and total shortwave solar radiation on a horizontal surface. The cover the period from 1895 to present and reveal long- and short-term climate patterns.
