More Than Productivity: Understanding Fear, Insecurity, and Dependence in AI-Assisted Software Engineering

This replication package accompanies an exploratory interview study with 23 master’s students on fears, insecurities, reliance, coping strategies, and confidence associated with AI-generated answers in software engineering. It includes de-identified participants, the interview guide, codebooks and theme summaries, and mappings to the manuscript findings. The materials support transparency and inspection of the analysis; full interview transcripts are not included.
