资源简介:

This thesis examines effective methods of developing independent thinking skills in students, emphasizing its growing importance in contemporary education. In the 21st century, education is no longer limited to memorizing information; instead, it focuses on developing learners’ ability to analyze, evaluate, and apply knowledge in real-life situations. According to Dewey (1916), education should actively engage learners in reflective thinking processes that lead to deeper understanding and problem-solving abilities. Modern educational technologies and interactive teaching approaches significantly contribute to this process by transforming students from passive recipients of knowledge into active participants in learning. These approaches help learners become creative, analytical, and self-confident individuals who are capable of independent decision-making. The paper also highlights the importance of critical thinking, problem-solving activities, and self-directed learning in higher education as key competencies for academic success and lifelong learning (Paul & Elder, 2008).
