Data for "Closing Catchment Scale Terrestrial Water Balances: Water Budget Uncertainty and the Role of Lateral Groundwater Exchange" (under review)
收藏资源简介:
This page gives the data (middle variables) used for the paper, including 1 geojson and 3 nc files: Specifically, the GeoJSON file catchment_boundaries.geojson contains the boundaries of the 23 studied catchments. NetCDF file water_budget_and_twsc_errors_two_resolutions.nc contains the TC-based absolute error estimates for the water-budget components and TWSC. It includes dataset-specific error maps for each variable, as well as the average error across the three datasets. More detailed variable names, dataset sources, units, and metadata are saved directly in the NetCDF file. NetCDF file catchment_ensemble_std_timeseries.nc contains the monthly uncertainty time series of water-budget components and terrestrial water storage change (TWSC) for the 23 studied catchments. The file includes standard-deviation estimates for precipitation, evapotranspiration, runoff, and TWSC, derived from the multi-product ensemble comparison and stored at the catchment scale. Runoff uncertainty is provided both as catchment-average runoff and as outlet runoff averaged over a 3×3 grid-cell neighbourhood. NetCDF file catchment_water_balance_timeseries.nc contains the monthly time series of the variables used to calculate the water-balance residual for the same 23 catchments. Specifically, precipitation is taken from GPCC, evapotranspiration from GLEAM, outlet runoff from GRUN using a 3×3 outlet neighbourhood, and TWSC from GRACE. The water-balance residual is calculated as : Residual = P − ET − Q − TWSC For the residual calculation, precipitation, evapotranspiration, and runoff are first adjusted to represent the corresponding TWSC monthly interval.
