The wastewater treatment system is a waste water remediation work by a variety of processes: biological, physico-chemical... located on a continuous and homogeneous geographical space. It is of urban, industrial or mixed type depending on the nature of the developer.
More specifically, whatever the configurations, a sewage treatment plant is the entire geographical area “delimited by the fence” containing a set of civil engineering constructions equipped with equipment and belonging to a single developer.

The overall manufacturer of the sewage treatment plant is the corporate designation of the main construction company that built the wastewater treatment plant. When several companies were involved in the construction of the sewage treatment plant, it was the one that carried out the most important part of the work that will be retained. When a sewage treatment plant has been the subject of several work programmes, it is the last major manufacturer that is taken into account.
