Large-scale standard fire test results of a novel cellular beam structural system (CBS).

The results contained in this data set were obtained from a large scale standard fire test conducted on a novel cellular beam structural (CBS) system with a non-composite profiled steel decking boarding system. The decking boarding system comprises VP50 profiled decking steel with Fibre cement and Calcium Silicate boards attached to the top and bottom. The experimental frame tested consisted of a total of 10 main structural elements, including two cellular beams, two parallel channel beams, two primary I-beams, and four columns. The data collected from the experimental test consists of temperature measurements from thermocouples placed along the decking/boarding system, and the main horizontal structural elements. Furthermore, vertical deflection data was also obtained using linear variable differential transducers placed at various locations along the horizontal structural members. The technical drawings of the experimental setup have also been published.
