The VocabularyDB is used as a dictionary and schema to select and translate variables when producing the RAW, L1 and L2 datasets. Where possible, the unit and name conversions are according to standard names (CF conventions 1.10). The '.pickle' and '.json' files are copies of an online spreadsheet (Google Docs) exported using Python.
