资源简介:
This study assessed the impact of different compost doses (0, 20 and 30 t/ha) on growth parameters and biomass yields of two forage species (Brachiariaruziziensis and Panicum maximum) in sandy-clay-silty soil in tropical climates. Climate data showed favorable conditions in 2022 compared to 2021, with an increase in rainfall, relative humidity and average temperatures. Soil physico-chemical analyzes showed a decrease in organic matter and nutrients in the control plots, confirming the importance of compost input to maintain soil fertility. The results indicate that the dose of 20 t/ha optimized growth parameters (stem diameter, plant height, number of stems) and biomass yields, but did not result in nutrient saturation or excessive leaching. This dose is therefore an appropriate solution to improve forage productivity in tropical soils while promoting sustainable resource management.
