Effect of glucokinase regulatory protein (GCKR)-rs1260326 on gene expression in human liver organoids

To investigate the functional difference between rs1260326:C>T in the regulation of lipogenesis in the liver, we established human induced pluripotent stem cell lines from GCKR CC and GCKR TT variants. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of human liver organoids (HLOs) generated from 5 different cell lines of which 2 are GCKR TT variants and 3 from GCKR CC variants Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for human liver organoids generated from GCKR TT and CC cell lines.
