资源简介:
This repository contains files relating to simulations of high-temperature aquifer thermal energy storage (HT-ATES), with injection temperatures ranging from 90 to 300 degrees Celsius. The simulated domain represents a permeable aquifer capped above and below by relatively impermeable units (caps), with axial symmetry around a single injection/production well. The wellbore and above-ground components of the system are not included in the model. \nThe files include input files to run the simulations, raw results files, and files listing the recovery efficiency for each simulated scenario (i.e. the ratio of energy extracted to energy injected). \nThe purpose of these simulations is to expand the range of temperatures, aquifer properties and operating parameters covered by previous studies of HT-ATES.\nAlso included are files used for validation against previously published results.\nLineage: The PorousFlow module (https://mooseframework.inl.gov/modules/porous_flow/index.html) of the finite-element software MOOSE (https://github.com/idaholab/moose) was used to simulate water flow and heat transport in the underground component of a HT-ATES system, in order to compute the recovery efficiency of the system.
