Nannochloropsis oculata strain:CCAP 849/1 Genome sequencing

This project provides the complete genome sequence of Nannochloropsis oculata strain CCAP 849/1, an axenic strain obtained from the Culture Collection of Algae and Protozoa (CCAP). N. oculata is a model oleaginous microalga of great interest for biofuel research and aquaculture. This genome assembly will serve as a valuable reference for studies on lipid metabolism and genetic tool development in the Nannochloropsis genus.
