本数据是中国主要进口木材名称国标数据库。共收集世界各国423个木材名称及种中文名、种拉丁名、商品材名称、科拉丁名、材色及密度、主要产地、备注、科中文名。为了规范木材市场，特制定本标准。

This dataset is the national standard database for names of major imported timber in China. It encompasses 423 timber records sourced from countries across the globe, where each record contains the Chinese common name of the species, Latin binomial name of the species, commercial timber name, Latin family name, wood color and density, main producing areas, supplementary notes, as well as the Chinese family name. This standard was specially formulated to standardize the domestic timber market.
