Relationship between Maternal and Child Nutritional Status: Findings from a Low-Income Setting in Ekom Iman, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria

Data is made up of 297 mother and their under-five year old children pair. More than half (52.5%) were males children, and 34.7% were aged 48-60 months old. The mean age of the children was 40.3±13.6 months. Of the 297 women included, majority were married (88.6%), and 38.4% were aged 20-24 years. The mean age of the women was 26.1±5.5 years. More than half (53.9%) of the women had at least a secondary level education, while 84.2% reported having a form of trade or in employment.
