Samples from various depths of two backhoe trenches excavated in a midden deposit
from the center of site CA-TUO-363 were examined for macrofloral remains. This site is
located in the lower foothills near Sonora in the northeast portion of central California.
Macrofloral analysis will be used to provide information concerning plant resources utilized by
the late prehistoric occupants of this site.
