Evaluation of acid pretreatment of Residual Fermented Solid (RFS) for biological hydrogen and methane sequential production

Residual Fermented Solid (RFS) is a residual biocatalyst from enzymatic biodieselsynthesis obtained by solid-state fermentation. Different acid pretreatments of the RFS,using sulfuric and oxalic acids, were studied to increase biomass hydrolysis andconsequently increase hydrogen and methane sequential production.
