遥感探测森林病虫害的主要依据是森林植物叶片内部组织结构与功能变异和树木形态的非正常变化(如叶片颜色的变化、叶绿素含量变化等),遭受病虫灾害的树木在光谱特性上会发生明显变化。因此,根据林木光谱反射率异常和结构异常在数字图像上的记录,通过图像处理、分类、动态监测信息系统和专家系统等数据分析手段,必要时辅以少量的地面调查,可对森林病虫害进行遥感监测。
The primary basis for remote sensing detection of forest pests and diseases lies in the internal organizational structure and functional variations of forest plant leaves, as well as abnormal changes in tree morphology (such as changes in leaf color, chlorophyll content, etc.). Trees affected by pests and diseases will exhibit significant alterations in their spectral characteristics. Accordingly, based on the records of spectral reflectance anomalies and structural anomalies of forest trees in digital images, remote sensing monitoring of forest pests and diseases can be conducted through data analysis methods including image processing, classification, dynamic monitoring information systems, and expert systems, supplemented with a small number of ground surveys when necessary.
