Improvement of the genome assembly of Galdieria sulphuraria

We performed genome sequencing of the extremophilic unicellular red alga Galdieria sulphuraria by Oxford Nanopore sequencer and Illumina Miseq. We succeeded to improve the genome assembly of this strain. This data will contribute to our understanding of the physiology of this strain.
