Time series for "Modeled Three-Dimensional Currents and Eddies on an Alongshore-Variable Barred Beach"

The file "BATHYD_TIME_SERIES.zip" includes files of time series of pressure, and cross- and alongshore velocity data that Britt Raubenheimer and Steve Elgar obtained at the USACE FRF field site.

The README.txt describes the format of the binary data files, provides MATLAB and FORTRAN code snippets to read the files, includes locations (coordinates) of the sensors, and contains information (file name conventions, sample rates, number of data points, sign conventions, units) about the time series files.

Collaborations using the field observations are encouraged by contacting [e-mail] or [e-mail], who can explain the data sets in detail, discuss pros and cons, inform you of any updates, and alert you to other ongoing investigations to prevent duplication of efforts
