We have identified several genes associated with the process of progesterone-mediated decrease in tumor volume in a beta-hCG containing milieu. RNA-seq analysis of LLC1 tumors (subcutaneously implanted) isolated from beta-hCG transgenic mice, ovariectomized beta-hCG transgenic mice (vehicle-supplemented), and ovariectomized beta-hCG transgenic mice (progesterone-supplemented). Supplementation was carried out for 28 days and the respective tumors were isolated post 30 days of implantation.
