We propose neutron diffraction measurements on high-quality epitaxial Mn3NiN films to validate the link between subtle changes in antiferromagnetic structure and large changes in the electronic sector as evidenced by the anomalous Hall effect. Confirmation of this mechanism will spur the emergence of a new platform for highly-efficient spintronic devices.
