<b>The ASTER GDEM (Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer Global Digital Elevation Model)</b> is a global digital elevation dataset jointly developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) of the United States and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan.<br>This dataset has a spatial resolution of <b>30 meters (1 arc-second)</b> and covers global land areas between <b>83°N and 83°S</b>. It is generated from stereo optical imagery acquired by the ASTER sensor onboard NASA’s <b>Terra satellite</b>.The ASTER GDEM data are referenced to the <b>WGS84 ellipsoid</b>, providing detailed surface elevation information. It has been widely used in <b>terrain analysis, hydrological modeling, geomorphological studies, and remote sensing applications</b>.The SMCI1.0 dataset are available from the National Tibetan Plateau Data Center at https://doi.org/10.11888/Terre.tpdc.272415.<br><br>
