资源简介:
The phenomenon of sequential herbivory something commonly happening in nature can alter plant phenotype, herbivore performance, and overall crop productivity, but such concept remains understudied in soybean systems. This study is the first kind of study to study the impact of sequential herbivory by two lepidopteran pests, fall armyworm (FAW) and soybean looper (SL), on soybean. The uploaded dataset contains soybean and herbivore trait data collected during sequential herbivory experiments assessing how FAW and SL, affect each other when attacking in different sequences. Plant growth traits (plant height, leaf number), physiological responses (photosynthesis rate, stomatal conductance, transpiration rate), herbivore mass gain and frass traits , and yield parameters are included in this dataset. The idea is to dissect the effects of sequential herbivory of FAW and SL on soybean tolerance.
