Brazil: hectarage of planted coffee 2018-2024, by region

In 2024, the Southeastern region in Brazil reported the largest area planted with coffee in the country, with around 1.7 million hectares, or approximately 90 percent of the national area planted with this commodity. The region includes the states of Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Coffee yield in Brazil had shown a slight drop in 2024, reaching 28.8 60-kg bags per hectare that year.
