Digital Well-Being - Schools (2017-2018)

Data were collected as part of the ‘Digital Wellbeing - Schools’ study, which was carried out between 2017 and 2018 and promoted by the Digital Wellbeing research centre, which deals with the relationship between digital media and quality of life.<br> <br> In particular, the study included a training intervention on new media education aimed at teachers and 10th grade students (in the second year of secondary school). The impact of this intervention was verified through a randomised experiment carried out in 18 schools in the territorial areas 23, 27 and 28 of the provinces of Milan and Monza-Brianza (Lombardy region, Northern Italy), involving a total of 3,361 students.<br> <br> The dataset contains the data collected during the study. Specifically, the information collected concerns:<br> - the socio-demographic characteristics of the students involved<br> - uses, perceptions and attitudes towards the new media and their own well-being<br> - measurements related to a test on digital skills to which they were subjected.<br>
