Wind electricity generation in the United Kingdom (UK) 2015-2023

Onshore wind farms in the United Kingdom generated 32.6 terawatt-hours of electricity in 2023, a small decrease in comparison to the previous year. Offshore wind power output in the UK surpassed that of onshore in 2023. More than 49 terawatt-hours of offshore wind power were generated that year.Wind and other renewable energy sources account for some 40 percent of the UK's power mix.
