Verfahrensdokumentation für RDF: Reizdarmfragebogen

Der Reizdarmfragebogen ist die deutsche Übersetzung der englischsprachigen Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (GSRS-IBS; Wiklund et al., 2003) und dient der Erfassung der individuell wahrgenommenen Symptombelastung bei Patienten mit Reizdarm-Syndrom sowie als Ergänzung der kategorialen Diagnostik um eine Einschätzung subjektiver Belastung. Er kann auch als Forschungsinstrument eingesetzt werden. Das Verfahren umfasst 13 Items, die vier Subskalen zugeordnet werden: (1) Völlegefühl, (2) Diarrhoe, (3) Verstopfung, (4) Schmerzen und Spannungsgefühle. Reliabilität: Zufriedenstellende Reliabilität (interne Konsistenz) sowohl in einer Stichprobe von Reizdarmpatienten als auch in einer Gesamtstichprobe mit klinischen relevanten und nicht-klinischen Fällen (Cronbachs Alpha > .72) wurden nachgewiesen. Validität: Bezogen auf die Reizdarm-Syndrom-Diagnose gilt die Kriteriumsvalidität als gegeben. Es zeigen sich auch konvergente Validitäten zu den Magen-Darm-bezogenen Skalen des GBB-24. The Irritable Bowel Questionnaire is the German translation of the English Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (GSRS-IBS; Wiklund et al., 2003) and serves to record the individually perceived symptom burden in patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome as well as a supplement to the categorical diagnosis of an assessment of subjective burden. It can also be used as a research instrument. The procedure comprises 13 items, which are assigned to four subscales: (1) Feel of fullness, (2) diarrhoea, (3) constipation, (4) pain and tension. Reliability: Satisfactory reliability (internal consistency) was demonstrated both in a sample of irritable bowel patients and in an overall sample of clinically relevant and non-clinical cases (Cronbach's Alpha > .72).
