Phenological RNAseq study on Bactrocera tryoni. Bactrocera tryoni

This study aims to investigate the transcriptomic changes occurring in Bactrocera tryoni over a phenological timescale. Specifically, we sampled 26 timepoints across a one year period and generated replicated RNAseq datasets from B. tryoni female heads. These data are being used to investigate the changes in gene expression occurring in different seasons and critical timepoints across a year, that may give insight into what mechanism(s) underpins the seasonal variation in the reproductive behaviour and longevity of B. tryoni.
