This study aimed at determining the influence of sexual recombination on an evolving population in different fitness landscapes and with different mutation rates. Population level sequencing data was developed from evolving sexual recombinant proficient and non-proficient populations with an increased mutation rate grown on glycerol to determine the evolutionary dynamics.
