Thirteen large hoards expected, one recorded: findspot structure in the Roman Republican coin-hoard corpus and the limits of pooled size distributions — replication archive

Replication archive, version 2. Harvesting and analysis scripts, derived per-hoard tables for the Coin Hoards of the Roman Republic (CHRR) and the Inventory of Greek Coin Hoards (IGCH), the logs of the analyses reported in the paper, and a script that re-derives each quantitative claim in the paper from those logs. Version 2 adds the hierarchical (partial-pooling) analysis of the provenance strata, its small-sample calibration by simulation, and the verification script. Version 1 accompanied an earlier title and did not include these. The raw databases are not redistributed: both are openly accessible under the Open Database License at numismatics.org/chrr and coinhoards.org, and the harvesting scripts retrieve them.
