Isolation and functional examination of the long non-coding RNA Redrum

Sought to isolate multiple long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) specifically expressed during murine embryogenesis. Multiple tissue-specifically expressed lncRNAs were identified based on differential expression levels between telencephalon and whole body. Detailed functional analysis of one of the lncRNAs were carried out, and a report is being prepared. Total RNA was isolated from telencephalon and whole body and was subjected to RNAseq analysis. Differentially expressed lncRNAs were identified.
