NAIP Farmland Extent Dataset for ResUNet and Text-Prompted SAM 3 (patches, masks, and tiles)

Supporting dataset for the article “Farmland Extent and Visible Boundary Mapping from 1 m NAIP Imagery Using Residual U-Net and Text-Prompted SAM 3 Refinement,” submitted to Geocarto International. This record contains:• 256×256 NAIP RGB image patches and corresponding binary farmland masks (train/validation/test)• Source NAIP GeoTIFF tiles used to generate the patches• Scene-level split ID lists and scene inventory metadata Dataset counts: train 3,850; validation 770; test 1,078 patches (scene-level splits to prevent leakage).The product is a semantic farmland-extent mask (farmland vs background), not a cadastral parcel map.
